Digital evidence, engineered for counsel.
You need findings that are accurate, admissible and explained clearly to a judge and jury. eForensix supports attorneys from the first call through testimony, in state and federal courts.
Finding the data is only half the job.
There's finding the digital trail, and there's getting it admitted as evidence. Our founder, John Lucich, has worked on digital investigations since 1988, including as an investigator for the New Jersey Attorney General's Office, and has testified in state and federal courts. He knows how cybercriminals think and how the legal system uses digital data.
Every engagement is handled to forensic standards with documented chain of custody, so your findings are defensible under cross-examination. Our team includes experienced forensic examiners and former law enforcement investigators.

How an engagement works
- 1Free consultation. Tell us the facts, devices involved and deadlines. We'll explain what is realistically recoverable and what it will take. Non-disclosure agreements are available on request.
- 2Preservation and chain of custody. Devices are collected and forensically imaged through write-blocking, with hashes captured, so the original is never altered.
- 3Analysis. Our examiners recover and analyze the data relevant to your theory of the case, including deleted and hidden data.
- 4Reporting. You receive clear written findings, and where needed, a formal expert report or certified report for the court.
- 5Testimony. We present findings in depositions, hearings and trial in plain language that judges and juries can follow.

I have had the opportunity to work with Mr. Lucich on several cases. He is an indispensable ally on all things digital forensics. With the help of John and his team I have obtained favorable outcomes that would not have been possible without his diligence and expertise. He is a gentleman and pleasure to work with, on top of it all.
I have worked with eForensix on several cases over the years. John Lucich and his team are extremely diligent, attentive and knowledgeable. In fact, through their expertise, we were able to secure outright dismissals for two separate clients who were both wrongfully accused of serious computer crime offenses. Without the expert guidance of eForensix, a true injustice might have occurred!
Our firm has worked with John and his team at eForensix on many different types of cases over the years. They are true professionals, a credit to their field, and an invaluable resource for both counsel and client. John and his team are knowledgeable and skilled. eForensix provides unparalleled technical expertise, competency, and a digital toolkit that levels the playing field between counsel and the government or State. - Dan Petersen, Esq.
